FYS Flyer Templates
Interested in boosting enrollment and recruiting more students? The FYS team has developed a series of marketing tools for instructors to post and share. FYS Course Support Funds (previously known as FYS Mini-Grant)
FYS instructors are eligible for up to $500 in FYS Course Support Funds to defray costs directly associates with student participation.

The Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts has made $5 student tickets available for several performances through their Curriculum Connections program. Learn more here.
Peter Hays Writing Prize
The Peter Hays Writing Prize is a monetary prize awarded for the best paper written for or related to the content in a First-Year Seminar class (FRS). First-Year Seminar Instructors are invited to nominate their students for this award.
Campus Community Book Project
UC Davis Undergraduate Education invites faculty in all disciplines to teach a First-Year Seminar around the Campus Community Book Project. The FYS-CCBP collaboration is an ideal way to introduce students to critical issues and explore UC Davis's Principles of Community.
