Foundations for University Success for International Students: Introduction to the University System

This course is part one of a series offered by the School of Education designed to give you the tools you need to succeed at UC Davis! You will learn about American culture with members of the campus community. Plus, you can practice important student skills, including how to:

  • Manage your time on the quarter system
  • Develop critical thinking and study skills
  • Understand and adjust to life in America
  • Understand your rights and responsibilities as a student
  • Participate in classes, use office hours
  • Find resources and answers for all kinds of questions

EDU 065AFoundations for University Success; Introduction to the University System (2)
Lecture/Discussion—2 hour(s); Fieldwork. Prerequisite(s): Consent of Instructor. Student must be a part of an approved Foundations for University Success program. Introduction to resources supporting first year student academic success and transition to a tier one research university. (P/NP grading only.)
